Use your own domain for your Minecraft server

Point play.yourname.com at your Minecraft server with one CNAME record. Works on the free plan.

Want play.yourname.com instead of name.play.jumphosting.cloud? You need a domain you own, from any registrar. It works on the free plan.

  1. At your registrar or DNS host, add a CNAME record: name play, target name.play.jumphosting.cloud. On Cloudflare, set it to DNS only (grey cloud).
  2. In the panel, open Settings → Address and add play.yourname.com.
  3. Wait for DNS. It works within an hour, usually much sooner.

Java players then join with play.yourname.com, no port. Bedrock players keep using the address and port from Overview.
