Free Minecraft Bedrock server hosting
A server your friends on phones, tablets, Windows and consoles can join, and Java players too. Free, no card, online in under a minute.
One server for every device
Pick Bedrock when you create your server. It runs Java Edition on Paper with Geyser and Floodgate installed, so Bedrock players on iOS, Android, Windows, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch join the same world as friends on Java. Nobody needs a Java account.
The server follows the newest Minecraft version Geyser supports, because Bedrock games update themselves. You don't have to keep anything in step.
What the free plan includes
- 2 GB of memory and as many player slots as you like
- Survival, creative, any difficulty, your own world upload
- Plugins from the catalog: EssentialsX, LuckPerms, GriefPrevention and more, working for Bedrock players too
- A whitelist to keep it to your friends
- A control panel with console, files and player lists
How Bedrock players join
On phones, tablets and Windows: Play → Servers → Add Server, then type the address and port from your panel's Overview, e.g. node1.jumphosting.cloud port 19132.
Xbox, PlayStation and Switch can't add servers on their own; the joining guide shows the BedrockConnect way round it. Java players join with name.play.jumphosting.cloud.
It sleeps when nobody plays
That's how it can be free. After 15 minutes with nobody online the server goes to sleep, and it wakes when someone joins or presses Start; the first join takes about a minute. Want it always on? Paid plans start at $5 a month.
Questions
Is the Bedrock server really free?
Yes. The free plan has 2 GB of memory, sets no limit on player slots, and needs no card. It sleeps when nobody's playing and wakes when someone joins.
Can Java and Bedrock players play together?
Yes. Every server runs Java Edition with Geyser, so Bedrock players on phones, Windows and consoles join the same world as Java players.
Can I play on Xbox, PlayStation or Switch?
Yes, through BedrockConnect: set the console's DNS to a BedrockConnect server, open a Featured Server, and add your server's address and port from the list it shows.
Which Minecraft Bedrock version does it run?
The newest version Geyser supports, which follows the latest Bedrock release. Bedrock clients update themselves, so they match.
