Minecraft server backups and restoring

How backups work on Jump, how often they run on each plan, and how to restore or download one.

A backup is a compressed copy of the whole server folder. Backups are part of the paid plans: every hour, keeping one from the last hour, one about a day old and one about a week old, plus one before every version change or world reset.

On the free plan

Free servers have no backups, so download the world folder from Files before anything risky: a big plugin change, a version jump or a world edit.

Restoring

On a paid plan, take a manual one any time with Back up now. Restoring stops the server, backs up the current state so you can undo, swaps the folder, and starts again; about a minute. Downloads are plain zips you can open on your own computer, or play in single-player.
