About Jump
Minecraft server hosting, free to start
Jump is an independent Minecraft server host. You make a server in a minute, share its address with your friends, and play. The free plan is a real server, not a trial: 2 GB of memory, up to 2 CPU cores and 8 GB of storage, with the same panel and network as the paid plans.
How free stays free
Most of the time nobody is playing on a given server, so a free one goes to sleep when the last player leaves and wakes up when someone joins or you press Start. Sleeping servers cost us very little. The rest is paid for by an ad in the panel on free servers and by the paid plans, from $4.99 a month, which are always on, with more CPU and storage, hourly backups and no ads.
What you get
- Java and Bedrock players on the same server, with Geyser.
- Paper, Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and vanilla, with plugins and modpacks installed from the panel.
- An address of your own (yourname.play.jumphosting.cloud), or your own domain.
- A full control panel: console, files, players and settings.
- Hopper, the panel assistant, who can read your server's console and config files and help you fix what went wrong.
- Machines in eastern and western North America, so you can host close to your players.
